She had a career ending meltdown on live TV that was attributed to being wasted on prescription pills. She was not known as much of a reporter. She was pretty, and one of the first women to break into network news. But she made a lot of enemies and was not liked by her co-workers. A tragic end to her life, but I would bet she would be pretty much out of the public eye had she lived. |

crap by "some" of her co workers who thought she didn't deserve to be sitting in the chair..she earned it..working in Houston and was a star in Philly.
She had more experience than most female network talent today.
I've read most of the books about her and the pressure that woman faced was beyond belief..perhaps that accounted for her alleged drug use..don't know...not making excuses but I do know I wish she were around today..growing up wtaching her on tv in Philly was a joy and working in the same buidling as her was even better.
