Maybe all the first-string technical people are still on vacation. But CNN's a technical trainwreck today....just when you think they have it together, another piece of furniture falls over. More late microphones...tossing to live shots that are now there....microphones left open during breaks...no standby cues....Suzanne Malveaux is doing a good job keeping it together but it's amateur hour on the air over there today. |

Talked to a friend over there. New audio console was part of the problem. Evidently it was the A-team in Atlanta, but if a shot from europe goes to bars on air, there isn't much you can do about it.
