to both of the last posts. Every station is Miami is guilty of dumbing down it's talent roster. WFOR has done the best at trying to get some good names, but still falls short of having a great talent roster. SVN is what it is, 6 has a few good talent, but horrible direction. Last and certainly least, WPLG gets the award for letting the most good talent go, in the last two years. Outside of a couple of good people, they blow. Ooops, didn't mean that literally!! |

Hate to break it to you, my little wide-eyed creampuffs. In South Florida... many of these new reporters have the credibility of a used car salesman in a polyester suit.
Most viewers see right through all these boobiful hires.
And for all you hot shots who say 'tvj is boring...newsflash kids, at least they produce stories worthy of viewers whose I.Q.'s are above
"retarded".
The only time most intelligent people turn on local news is during a hurricane. Even then, they get pissed that it's wall to wall coverage when the damn thing is still days away (thank you Bryan). If any station had some orbital genitalia, they'd leave regular programming on if a storm is still days out, and do ten minute updates as warranted at the top of each hour. Who wants to see some swinging dick on the beach reporting on the "ominous" conditions, as the beautiful sunshine rains down on some tasty waves .
I'd much rather see a calm, cool collected weatherman say the following:
"Okay South Florida... you know the drill: get your damn water and food.. brush the rust off your friggin' shutters, and watch us at the top of the hour... we'll tell you if your ass needs to worry. Otherwise, unclench your sphincters until we say so. Now back to regular programming".
Damn, I need to run a station.
