it wasn't kosher to say "bitch," "fag" or "damn" on the air, now the damn words are everywhere...i guess by today's standards, friggin would be kind of quaint. |

"Friggin" is about as offensive as Colonel Potter's "horse hockey" or "buffalo chips," in my opinion.
Every once in a while I hear callers/hosts use "pissed off" on the radio. Not sure of the current status regarding the phrase, but I was given a talking-to for saying it on-air during my rookie year about 15 years ago.
Boy, was Coach Popavich STEAMED after that lousy call!!
