But the real story of this ratings period is the establishment of WVIT as the leading breaking news station.WVIT was first with live pictures of a house fire a mile from WFSB while WFSB was reporting on the telephone.I hope someone from WFSB can explain how that happened.We're not too confident at WVIT that WFSB's problems will last because WFSB always comes back and word on the street is management changes are coming at WFSB so that will shake things up. Message: WVIT? Leading breaking news station? Like the boat fire Monday night? Like the Capitol break in? Like the apartment fire on the Hartford/West Hartford line? Like the Winsted standoff Sunday? channel three has numerous problems...but please...
