I am a minority and I have just as good of a resume as anyone else (of my years) in my shop. But yet, people probably think I only have this job because I'm a minority. The fact is, I got this OPPORTUNITY because I'm a minority. Otherwise the station probably would have probably passed me over...I don't think that the whole world is racist...I just think that people hire those that look like them...and non-minorities do most of the hiring. I am the only black reporter in my market...so tell me again, how are non-minorities getting the shaft? Get over it...minorities are just getting what they were denied for hundreds of years...
