Topic Name: "Friggin'" CBS Evening News Message Name: Byron Pitts pkg last night Date Posted: 05/31/2005 Message: A deeply silly Byron Pitts pkg last night comparing the treatment of Danica Patrick and Dan Wheldon post-Indy 500 included a sound bite with a woman saying of Patrick "she's friggin' awesome!" Um... is "friggin'" now an appropriate word for broadcast TV? Perhaps I'm a bit behind the times but it struck me as really out of place.
