As a practicing musician, I belonged to a house band in a low-life club. The owner was known for his ability to keep order in the establishment. I watched him on several occasions break up fights between men bigger than himself. But one night, two women got into it. I noticed he did nothing to break it up. They bit and scratched and clawed and pulled each other's hair out. They nearly killed each other before bystanders tore them apart. I asked the tough guy manager why he didn't intervene. I'll never forget his words. He said, "Son, I learned a long time ago, so, a row between a coupl'a gals is off limits. Too dangerous." I've gotta feeling this "Diane vs. Katy" thing is going to get ugly.
