Don't you think you should just ignore what's written.
I mean, you're a grown man getting into fights with people on-line. I know you'll say you're defending yourself, but what's the point really? Isn't it kinda childish? Who cares what people say as long as you believe the truth...getting into these little online shouting matches with strangers seems a bit 3rd. grade. It must be hard to worry so much about what people think/say about you?
Could you imagine Rather, Brokaw or any local lead anchor for that fact hoping online in a tv journalist chat room to defend their story (or should I say ego)
It would never happen and it shouldn't be happening now.

That's what people like about him...he's so human he'll even defend himself on a tv news internet gossip board. Viewers like the fact he comes off like one of them. He's not some glamour girl or gallant guy. He's just a regular guy there slugging it out with the bad guys who are trying to pull one over on the little guy. Viewers love him. And they remember him. I dare say most viewers can't tell any of the other "investigative" reporters apart. Most viewers can't name them. But they all know Steve Wilson. The man has made a positive impression with viewers. All the other reporters and their bosses are jealous.
