I never said this was a non-story. I've worked in LC and Beaumont is home -- trust me -- I know the value of this place.
I simply pointed out that our managers drew a thin line when it came to the 'freebies' and avoided turning our newscast into a commercial.
btw - I agree - KPLC did a great job with everything.

I just wanted to make sure of that. I am not from here and I think this is an odd place to put a casino the size and style of L'Auberge. After going and doing the story, I now know they are desperately trying to lure in customers from Houston. And from what I have heard over the past couple of days they did very well at that.
