Funny- I work at News 8, as a reporter and make in the 30's. According to your numbers, the same as a local affiliate. Grow up everyone, these arguments are the same that were here 6 years ago when the station launched. Something must be going right. |

News8 is only on Time Warner Cable... =300,000 households in the DMA, that's out of nearly 900,000 households total. Good, bad, whatever... what's not up for debate is that only a 3rd(max) of Central Texas sees anything aired on News8. It's hard to aspire to be a newsleader, when they just use you to sell the "Extended-Basic Cable Package". No disrespect to News8, though. Some of their faces HAVE been hired by local networks.
I don't have time warner anymore, used to like watching "Fitzy", that guy's a riot.
