Don't forget, KOKI beat KOTV in some of the demos in Feb, and beat KJRH soundly in every demo-before Carrie Underwood kicked in. This book will jack those numbers even higher. The Olympics did not deliver a 30 rating, but rather a nice solid 20 or so...day after day after day. On none of those days did KJRH crack a 10 rating. On none of those days in KJRH beat either KOTV or KTUL. They had the audience and couldn't keep it. I am just making the point that the product has to be good to hold big lead ins...it is not a given. Remember when NBC was a powerhouse? KJRH still was last.
I predict an 18 rating for KOTV with Travis debut, and I predict no long term impact. KOTV numbers simply cannot go much higher, and not all KOTV viewers like Travis...he could alienate some of them. Unfortunately nobody else at 10 can be taken seriously in weather...so your choice it Travis or nothing. |

I was just about to think you were "somewhat" objective until that post. It's just weather. Trav won't be handing out communion!
