good hire. It's about time KTLA started to plan for life after Fishman. It's obvious he should have been dumped years ago. He can't stand working with most people, and even more people can't stand working with him.
I am curious how much say Wald had in the hire, or was is strictly the GM?
But to answer the original question...it might be considered a step down by some (not me) but financially, it's definitely a step up! |

a piece of the action there at KTLA..and is thus difficult to remove except on his own terms..and, if so, yes.. someone should have fulfilled those terms and gotten rid of him years ago..that 10 p.m. show MAY be the most boring newscast i've seen in almost 39 years doing this.. and i've seen some REALLY boring ones in that time.,. but this one is at the top of the list..
