I never said this was a non-story. I've worked in LC and Beaumont is home -- trust me -- I know the value of this place.
I simply pointed out that our managers drew a thin line when it came to the 'freebies' and avoided turning our newscast into a commercial.
btw - I agree - KPLC did a great job with everything.
