for work WHERE if they want to stay in Austin?
You don't get it. Even people who HATE their work environment still have to put beans on the table.
But I can tell you of at least one person in KVUE production who was so unhappy that he left without finding another job. That's how much HE hated it there. He had worked at KVUE for 15+ years.
I know many folks at KVUE and they all tell me it's never been this bad. So go ahead -- believe what you want to believe. But excuse me if I choose to believe my friends over there.
Oh, and about the BBQ segments -it's the freakin' weather segment. Last I checked Edward R. Murrow never delivered the 7 day.

Yeah Mack...I know the guy youre talking about. I've worked with him for years...and let me tell ya.. regardless of what comes out of his mouth he was on his way out either way. Total dead weight as an employee..had been for years..but it finally got noticed. The kind who thought that simply having tenure equals value as an employee. He found himself in a situation that demanded too much from him and instead of making an effort to rise to the challenge... he hid from it. There were also a ton of other factors that I wont go into that were equally as negative if not more so. So you can say that people who have been at the 'VUE for years are looking to jump ship...if that kind of employee wants to bail and go do the minimum at KEYE or wherever else.. more power to them! Hire away..You're not getting much of a deal.
