Media from all over the gulf south took advantage of at least some of those services, including the free rooms. Remember, news managers like to save money. There were many more journalists from out of the area there than were from Beaumont or LC.
Rusty, I don't have a problem with you, but get off your high horse. This is a significant story in all of Louisiana. L'Auberge is the last "riverboat casino" that can be built here and they chose to put it in LC. Not New Orleans, but tiny Lake Charles? It is an odd choice.

The "Added Value" will continue to lead the news in Southeast Texas as long as all the media outlets fight for the projected advertising dollars... Why buy the cow when the milk is free? Just get a great PR person to play us all...
