We have some people who work at my station that think they shouldn't have to work as hard or as late as other people because they have kids. It's such crap! We also have this one reporter who talks about her kids all the time. I just want to say to her... go be a stay at home mom! She doesn't think she should have to work until 6 or ever do liveshots.
Are any of you in a similar situation? What do you do? |

That's pretty much all you can do. Don't think it's any different in a newspaper office, an accounting firm, your dentist's, or at Burger King. People with children always will get special treatment and priorities above someone childless.
If it breeds, it leads.
