You went from Jim McKay to Bob Jenkins to Paul Page and now Todd Harris? Todd Harris was just barely good enough to be a sideline reporter...on MLS telecasts. What was ABC thinking by having this novice doing the most watched "Greatest Spectacle In Sports" in at least the last decade.
Jerry Punch would have given you a better race call. And as far as HDTV goes, I bet it will be at the Speedway for the NASCAR Brickyard 400.
TNT, NBC and Fox gets is when it comes to auto race coverage. ABC turned in their NFL hallpass, it looks to be time for them to do so with the Indy 500. And have a real network give them the coverage it begs for.
