I once suggested that they cater the news towards the uneducated, the people who like Jerry Springer, and Maurry. I wasn't taken seriously, but I still think it could work. |

SVN isn't "blood and guts". It hasn't been that for years. The product is HEAVY on entertainment. That's what's selling now...star news. Also emphaisis on breaking news. I watched when I went to Miami for vacation a couple months ago. Very slick, 3-D graphics and bumps, very fast reads and packages on local issues, and an extremely pretty pool of hip, well-dressed talent who can sell a story no matter how insignificant. I think if GCL put a little "zip" on their product, it could get some attention. Once again, GCL cannot beat WSB playing the same game.
