When I started reading this post, I was reminded, yet again, of how many unhappy, angry people work in this business. The "us" against "them" mentality -- like a war. I got news for you people. WE are ALL Americans.
Liberals: have some respect for yourself by having respect for your country. Yes, there are problems, but get serious, there is no utopia. Not everything conservative is negative.
Quit acting like spoiled brats and babies.
Conservatives: Cut the blind patriotism bs. No government entity is correct about everything all the time. Start respecting people who want to make my, their and your lives better through action. Quit stuffing your "values" (different than morals) down everyone's throat. Not everyone has to live by your rules. Quit acting like Nazis.
Finally, if we could take all this passion and venom and use it for one goal -- wow! -- what a powerful force we would be. |
