The facts simply were not there to support the piece. That makes it pretty damned easy to reach a conclusion on the work.
You wrote: "Monsanto's OWN studies show the milk from hormone-inject cows is different."
"Different" does not always mean detrimental, does it? But to a slanted story, it clouds the message, right?
Fox wanted you to offer Monsanto's opinion to give some balance to the piece.
Is that a bad thing? Or does it clutter the ham-fisted approach you take to every story?
As for an answer to your second question: Which media outfit do I work for? I'll play coy on that one, but my employers have always appreciated the fair way I ply my trade. They also appreciate all the awards I've picked up for them along the way.
Hey Steve--you might be the buzz in Detroit, but your colleagues around the nation who also specialize in investigative work have used your name as a punchline for years. The Fox pissing match was not the only piece to your missing career puzzle a few years back.

He creates his own "buzz" by spending an inordinate amount of time in this forum and others.
Wilson occasionally does a good story, but his sleezy tactics and half-truths make it difficult to believe anything that comes out of this mouth. There is no respect among any of his own collegues or the rest of the Detroit media.
What cracks me up is that he loves to question other reporters' integrity publicly...a true sign of an insecure wannabe egomaniac.
