Oh yeah...the great crusader is 150 large lighter in his wallet right now after finally paying the Fox lawyers for the suit he lost years ago.
He's a grandstander and a blowhard. Christ, the guy used to be the star reporter at "Inside Edition." Who can take him seriously? |

First, unlike those who who SHOULD sign their names "given2pettyjeaolousy," I have never posted on this board with a pseudonym that hides my true identity.
Yes, I suppose there are some in the Fox-owned newsroom at WTVT in Tampa who knew virtually nothing about what happened to my investigative reporting except what they heard from management weenies who turned over editorial control to lawyers because they wanted/needed to keep their jobs.
And, yes, I did just pay Fox Television for the privilege of standing up for telling the truth when they pressured me and Jane Akre to broadcast what we knew and documented to be lies and distortions. (By the way, did you hear a JURY reached the same conclusion?...and Fox got the verdict overturned largely on the grounds it is not illegal to use the public airwaves to deliberately distort the news because the First Amendment is broad enough to support even THAT dispicable activity? Would you be proud to be associated with a "news organization" like that?
Finally, I'm proud of the work I and my colleagues did at the investigative unit at Inside Edition. Never mind the awards, we were allowed, encouraged and supported to do the kind of investigative journalism that made a difference--does that happen where YOU work these days?
Grandstander, blowhard, whatever...I'm not ashamed to be judged by the work that I do and the difference that it makes whether on Inside Edition or Detroit's #1 station.
Listen, I'm far from perfect and certainly not above honest criticism but whiners who snipe on internet boards like this because of petty jealousies and insecurities? Get a life!
