First @ KEYE:
An Assistant News Director is hired. Suzanne Black will join KEYE. She was News Director at KSWB the Tribune Owned W-B affil in San Diego. A station that does just a 1/2 hour at 10PM Mon-Sunday.
Over at KTBC/FOX-7, they are bringing in a new Nightside EP. Chris Walker was EP at KCEN in Waco. |

more the stench of rotting fish than the heavenly scent of smoked brisket?
The main weather guy is doing LIVE WX from a different BBQ joint every
Mon & Thurs @ 5&6pm. This goes on through labor day.
He interviews the manager, shows off their products, talks about how good the food is and how popular the places are.
It becomes about a 4 min INFOMERCIAL.
The "wurst" part the segments are SPONSORED BY THE BBQ JOINTS being profiled.
This wreaks of selling news time and it don't smell as good as the smoker outside Rudy's Country Store. (which by the way isn't participating)
