Any producer who has ever dealt with Newspath knows that if they cancel a live shot there's a damn good reason. I'd like to know what station out there has never lost a sat. transmission or suffered audio loss. That sucks for everyone involved including all those Newspath producers scrambling to save EVERY SINGLE affiliate show from morning through night in every time zone. There's no good reason to criticize a division of endlessly hardworking people who actually give a crap about what they do - i.e. about YOUR show! AND...It doesn't matter if the Assistant Producer involved in the Reynolds slap-flap was unprepared or stupid - YOU DON'T HIT PEOPLE! It's assault. Burt Reynolds is not only an overpaid, talentless has-been, but a big, dumb jerk with an undeserved, over-inflated ego. Forget the law suit, I hope the kid files criminal charges.
