Texas AG Greg Abbott says of the 191 convicted sex offenders who got Viagra through Medicaid over the last six years, only 2 have reoffended. That comes out to about 1%.
I found a 1994 Bureau of Justice Statistics report that says in part:
''Within 3 years following their release, 5.3% of sex offenders (men who had committed rape or sexual assault) were rearrested for another sex crime.''
A five-fold improvement thatnks to viagra?
Anyone know of a more recent study?
