9 needs to can all the managers and bring in more workers. There's just not enough help on the floor - we are missing major stories because we dont have the manpower.
People are pretty stressed out at this place - just ask around, you'll find a ton of people on antidepressants and zanax.
Take care of your staff first. They're the part that will make 9 work - not a flashy new set. |

9news needs reporters.
current group of reporters are weak...especially the new ones.
dc is a town where hard news reporters THRIVE.
wusa doesn't have that.
9news needs a solid anchor team.

weekend guy is hard to watch.

the desk is beaten on every major story in washington.
recruit strong desk people with a rolodex and contacts.
desk manager, dayside, and nightside guy should be replaced IMMEDIATELY.
photogs
some of the most experienced and some of the laziest in washington dc.
no longer hungry.
poor pictures.
too interested in getting off on time everyday.

doesn't have a clue about news.
great sales guy.
should not be running a tv station in market 8.
news director
fired at another gannett station, but rehired by gannett in dc.
that's just plain stupid.
nice guy, but way out of his league in washington dc.
ep's special proj producers and line producers.
some of the worst produced newscasts i've seen.
awful writing.
no special projects vision.
is she asleep?
just plain awful.
all need to be replaced.
news dept is full of bad hires, bad attitudes, inexperience, and lazy people.
and you see the result.
