Instead of investing in 4 new pretty anchors DG should hire some seasoned reporters. When is the last WUSA broke a big story - or even advanced one?
Solid, credible journalism is the only way to bring the station back to respectability.
Also weather is the number reason viewers give for watching. It's obvious Topper is not the answer and no one else on the staff has any name recognition in the market. So either hire someone in the market (Sue Palka) who can bring immediate impact, or go out and find someone who can come in and break through the clutter?
By attacking on two fronts you can build a credible news outlet with a personality who makes things interesting.
