He *was* effective and indispensable at the station and nightside weekdays. I totally disagree with the posters who are slamming him. I wonder if anyone of them actually worked with the man? I did, and I can say he was a breath of fresh air to the newsroom. He pushed for different stories, stories you probably wouldn't have seen on air before him, and he was a hell of a writer! Sure, sometimes his humor could be a bit crude, but who in a newsroom isn't guilty of that at times? I miss working with Casey and I know he'll land on his feet somewhere. |

Can someone please cut and paste his resume here? Maybe someone will see it and hire him.
As far as crude behavior/jokes are concerned, give me a break. It's a newsroom, folks! Personalities...that's part of what makes this sometimes crappy business crazy and fun! If you're that uptight, you need to go work for the 700 Club.
Regardless...with or without him, we won the news book...hands down...and we'll win the noon when Bob Barker retires! See ya!
