Anyone have good tales of story spiking out there?
Seems to be one going on in NJ by the Bergen Record right now. "Discrimination Lawsuit Rips through a Tony Private School," kinda stuff that usually gets picked up in a second and makes great local headlines. discrimination, agism, battles of the elites, possible cover ups...not bad for news or for paper selling... well, that is if the ruling media family isnt involved.
If your name is Borg and you are on the Board of the school in question, does that mean the paper your family controls doesnt cover the story?
Anyone hear of this one or any others? |

right here in san diego, where the son of the publisher of the san diego union-tribune got nailed twice for drunk driving..every other paper in the area covered the hell out of it.. but you never saw a word in the u-t..of course, we have a saying here in san diego..we read the u-t to find out what happened.. then we read the los angeles "times" to find out what REALLY happened..BTW, the drunken son is now the publisher..
