1. Front End, that sounds alot like my shop. We have a guy who is always late and it leads to problems on the air. Also I think most people dont respect this guy and people dont respect managemnt when they let the problem continue. I guess some people just dont need a paycheck as much as the rest of us.
2. Magicadoola, ok, so people who showed up to work late on 9/11 in lwr Manhattan are still alive. How about if all the fire/police/rescue people had arrived to their jobs late on that day? Quite a few more people would be dead. Mayber you'll show up one day to work, late of course, and the summer intern will be doing your job.
3. You folks who criticize 'clock watchers', are you telling me you aren't watching the clock at the end of your shift? |

having drinks with other tv folks the other day and at one of the stations in the Denver market apparently the anchors are made to sit at their desks until 10:15pm so their shift is finished. Otherwise they are "stealing from the company". Also was told the EP would hide in her car in the parking area and write down names of people who left early.
