That sounds like a good career move to me. But before you go in, ask potential co-workers about the integrity of the journalism being done around there.
The actual job duties are probably excellent for your resume. But some people think Al Jazeera is a mouthpiece for Islamic extremists, or at the very least a mouthpiece for Arab, anti-American sentiment, so you might wanna find out whether YOU think that's true before you make the jump. If nothing else but to have a response for inquiring managers who might interview you in the future. But anybody who wouldn't give you a shot just because it's on your resume is probably not someone for whom you'd wanna work anyway.
