Anyone who is fan of AMC remembers when Kelly Ripa joined the cast as a teenager. She was not fat, but certainly curvy and robust looking.
As she aged, she did drop, what some people might consider "baby fat", but until recently she was toned with the look of a woman who stays fit, but is not overdoing it.
Obviously, I don't know whether she has an eating disorder or not but she did not appear to be naturally skinny, in fact she's one of few women I know who got smaller after giving birth. That's rare for celebs and even rarer for "real moms".
I don't buy the running around after my kids made me skinny line...I know too many women with toddlers who are running around after them and still carrying pregnancy weight. |

and I never said it doesn't happen. I said I know FEW...that doesn't mean all or none.
And I just don't buy it in Ripa's case.
It's actually a very recent phenomenon of women being smaller after pregnancy because of breast feeding and new medicines that help readjust hormones after giving birth.
You have just as many women who say they pick up pounds after having kids because they are eating the Mickey D's, cookies, and cake along with them or cleaning their plates when the little ones don't eat up.
And frankly unless they are stay at home moms a lot of women don't really do all that much activity with their kids because they are also working or have other obligations or don't have a husband...and I said a lot not all.
