It will probably be somewhat limiting.
There will be those (the type of folks who take FOX news seriously, for example) who will question your patriotism, view you as a Trojan horse terrorist, and refuse to touch you with a ten foot pole.
Others will judge you solely on your talents and abilities.
Seems to me that having Al Jazeera on your resume could potentially reduce the number of people willing to hire you in the future, but would not, by any means, result in career suicide.
IMO.

What if the job at Al Jazeera was a promotion ie...chance to go on air and also manage a foreign bureau? Would that change things?
