Al Jazeera is starting a new English channel that promises to be objective and totally indepenedent from the arab channel. Do you think it would be career suicide for an established producer American producer to go and work for them? |

It will probably be somewhat limiting.
There will be those (the type of folks who take FOX news seriously, for example) who will question your patriotism, view you as a Trojan horse terrorist, and refuse to touch you with a ten foot pole.
Others will judge you solely on your talents and abilities.
Seems to me that having Al Jazeera on your resume could potentially reduce the number of people willing to hire you in the future, but would not, by any means, result in career suicide.
IMO.
