I can remember reading overnights and thinking the gap was closing only to have the final book numbers tell a different story.
I don't blame WBTV for making a big deal out of winning the book because it really is big. And well worth promoting. I just hope when the actual book comes out the numbers are not different. |

While WBTV gloats at it's 11 win, it should be noted that WCNC was in the hunt as well. Just like everyone else, WCNC was down in its evening shows, but is showing solid gains elsewhere, particularly in the morning. While the focus may be on WSOC and WBTV, WCNC could someday move into the lead. There's no question WCNC has the best morning show and the 11 pm show is as solid as any other show. We'll see what happens.
