but, you're right, falderal when you say you don't follow her into the bathroom to see if she pukes it up. she has dropped a good 20 pounds, quickly.
that's how i hid it for awhile... i'd eat around people, (and, even that little bit would be all i'd eat the entire day,) but then i immediately went to puke. didn't matter where.. work, restaurant, out at an event. afte awhile i figured the best thing to do (at home) was go take a shower after eating, that way i could puke in peace and the water would drown out the sound. one day, i didn't realize the bathroom window was open. my husband was outside and he heard me. that's how i was finally busted, even though he suspected for awhile. now, he will not let me shower alone. he literally sits in the bathroom with me while i bathe. can you even imagine the humiliation?? a grown, intelligent, successfull woman, and my husband can't even trust me to take a shower by myself. (and, he shouldn't have either.. good call by him. it finally got me into therapy.)
i'm not writing this for pity or applause (although i do appreciate the kind words). i'm just saying.. the lengths people will go to to hide this are unbelievable. |

Anyone who is fan of AMC remembers when Kelly Ripa joined the cast as a teenager. She was not fat, but certainly curvy and robust looking.
As she aged, she did drop, what some people might consider "baby fat", but until recently she was toned with the look of a woman who stays fit, but is not overdoing it.
Obviously, I don't know whether she has an eating disorder or not but she did not appear to be naturally skinny, in fact she's one of few women I know who got smaller after giving birth. That's rare for celebs and even rarer for "real moms".
I don't buy the running around after my kids made me skinny line...I know too many women with toddlers who are running around after them and still carrying pregnancy weight.
