Instead of investing in 4 new pretty anchors DG should hire some seasoned reporters. When is the last WUSA broke a big story - or even advanced one?
Solid, credible journalism is the only way to bring the station back to respectability. But every good accountant knows that - don't they? |

As someone who used to worked at channel 9, I always get a kick out of reading the posts on here from people who are still there, asking everyone to have "patience" and claiming that the station is on the right track and just a rating period away from turning things around. Its just another example of how out of touch they are. Five years ago it seemed Channel 9 couldn't sink lower, but management has managed to take the once great 9 to new lows. Any other station in the country would have managed to get something out of all the money they've spent on HDTV-- but somehow they've turned that into a loss as well. I think the only hope for the station at this point is to sell it to a company that understands local television, and fire everyone.
