I think we should use more non police spokespeople to counteract the BS from the police department.
I find that retired cops, FBI agents etc can be great on stories. But forget the Secret Service guys. THEy take some oath of secrecy.
THey dont arrest that many people, but they are damn secret.
Good tip when you need a sound bite and the PIO is jacking you around. Get an ex-cop they all hate the old dept. so you can great bites... trust me.
think out side the bowl.
