I know of Drew but am from outside of the market. Is this job more daily reporting like a regular number three position in a place that certainly has a lot of sports interest or more heavy on the shooting and occasional reporting.
Was Shirley in line for the weekend position when it was open last year? |

There is a lot of interest in the market, but KVUE is not known for its sports coverage. They're the only station in our market without a photog.
So, from what I've seen Drew do, you'll do nothing but shoot some days, and you'll get to shoot your own stories on others.
Drew was in line for the weekend position last year, I believe, but Barnes decided against him.
Before that, Barnes decided against Jenk as well, but I think the ND had a change of heart at the last minute.
In other words, there is no guarantee that you'll be in line for the weekend job if it comes open.
