But it really depends on experience. I know reporters with years of experience (5plus) who were offered 70 grand. But starter reports (2 to 3 years exp) make around 40. They are really cheap in hartford. |

..from my very best info from around the market.
A younger, newer generation of reporters has lately started filling the ranks at most of the stations and salary offers are ranging at the lower end of your scale, esp. at TNH, which is LIN-owned... even lower at TIC, which is notoriously cheap with salaries at all employee levels..but they're Tribune, so, what would you expect.
