Is "he" still the GM at WJZ? How much responsibility do you lay on the GM? |

Don and Marty have definitely tightened up due to WBAL's Morning News win in January. Management isn't taking the AM for granted - now they're giving the AM some resources (new reporter, etc.) Despite this, we're flat year to year at 5am, down 12% at 530am and down 4% at 6am. WBAL is up 13% at 5am and up 22% at 6am.
As for Dr Phil, I hope it helps too. The only problem is that Phil can't run head-to-head with Oprah... so expect to see Phil at 3pm followed by 3 hours of news (September '06)
