You can call it spin if you like - but no one is happy on the top of TVHill. We did a swan dive.
WBAL finished 11.1 to WJZ 10.9. If we can't win with the Raymond Finale and a 12 point lead, how are we ever going to win?
Don and Marty brought us back in the morning (WJZ 7.9 vs WBAL 6.7) but the evening news is ugly (5pm, WBAL 9.2 vs WJZ 5.8, 6pm WBAL 10.2 vs WJZ 6.6). WMAR's late news (3.4) is 4th place behind WBFF (5.8)... and WBFF's 530p news(3.0) beat WMAR(2.1)as well...
If another station started news, I think WMAR would be in 5th place.
Those are the numbers.... spin it anyway you like, but a loss is a loss.
