Topic Name: Slap-Happy Burt Reynolds Message Name: Hmmm... Date Posted: 05/25/2005 In Reply To: as hard or serious as people are making it out to be and they didn't hear the ENTIRE interview..that producer was NOT prepared. He's embarassed and he should be since he asked someone to "tell me about the movie" ...at a premiere and he didn't even see the original!! No excuses..it's like saying the dog ate my homework! Burt lightly slapped the guy on the arm..and joked saying we need to get together afterwards to see it. I've interviewed people on the red carpet before (including Reynolds and he was NICE) and everyone's blowing this out of context..you need to see it in its entire form...geez! Message: I heard the distinct POP! and saw the arrogant look on Burt's over-stretched face as he did it. You only joke around like that if you're friends with the person. Burt's an arrogant old fart with a bad plastic surgeon.
