ProductionWhiz. Someone soon will pick up on this thread and just berate you for bringing up "such a shallow topic." It's just a matter of time. I just wanted to say it before someone did.
By the way, I don't seem to mind them looking away. It's not like seeing both the anchor and the reporter looking straight ahead makes any sense either. Maybe they should both look to the side, as if they're looking at each other? Bottom line, it doesn't bother me either way. |

is the reporter looking off camera? Never.
I think both sides should do the same thing, whatever that may be. When one side is doing one thing and the other side doing another it looks like a mistake in my opinion.
Look into the camera, you're not fooling anyone by pretending to look at the other box.
