He handles the "wide-load" fat jokes very well. Quick on the trigger too.
What a curious show Imus has.....fat jokes/threats to Chris...threats from Chris...insults flying back and forth, then serious news interviews with serious people.

Believe it or not...the roots of the Imus radio show (and it IS a radio show) run deep. Arthur Godfrey, The Breakfast Club...all of the old morning radio chat shows. It really an updated version of those. More profane, I grant you, but not much different...a little news, sports, chat, personal observations from the participants, etc.
