One woman I work with calls EVERY day at the time she's supposed to be in her chair, and says she'll be in in 20 (read: 45) minutes. I'm amazed that she gets away with this --- I've been watching it happen for two years. |

The colleague who calls in every day is announcing in that call that she's late AGAIN.
It's noticed, trust me, it's noticed. Just because management doesn't make a public stink over it doesn't mean it goes past them. It's on the record, it's part of their salary review. It would be nice for you if you understood just how much trouble the other staffer is in, but it's not going to happen that way.
This isn't school, the teacher doesn't call out attendance. But people see who's there and who's not.
