I truly applaud the minority that works his/her tail off and goes to a big market, and the white reporter/anchor as well...
But come on...you must admit-if you want to leap frog markets- being white and below average looking doesn't help.

I am of color, and I can't get a job either. Being black and below average looking doesn't help.
I'm even considering plastic surgery to fix my nose...because it's too ethnic for viewers. My lips are ironically too full...and my color is too dark.
Tell me where I can get the breaks for being a minority and I'll rush a tape.
