Let's say the FBI raided a domestic terrorist camp. The enusing fierce battle led to the destruction of a patch of forest.
Then let's say an organization dedicated to "finding alternatives to the FBI" pays you to put together a documentary that "exposes" how the FBI is "destroying our land" without mentioning the terrorists.

Let's say the Cornpone PD was faced with a string of unsolved rapes, some involving truly disgusting acts, and lots of violence.
Let's say they arrested someone, and send DNA belonging to the rapist found at a crime scene to a lab.
Let's say the lab identifies the DNA as belonging to the person arrested.
Let's say the crime lab is wrong.
Is there some interest served by putting the arrested person in jail, even though he's not the rapist?
Or is there some interest in catching the right guy?
