I'm the fool? Did you forget, you're the one who posted the bonehead note.
Did you do it to vent? To be clever/witty? Get a reaction? Be Tuesday's bon vivant?
What ever you have done, you did it with poor planning and extraordinarily poor execution.
I'm glad you're hidden in the bowels of a newsroom. Because if you were doing stand-up, which it appears you're trying to do, you'd be doing 'open mike' nights for the rest of your career.
