they're starting some new shows..its an LMA with the ABC affiliate. 2 newsrooms in one...horrible place to work. If you start on NBC and they don't like you, they'll shove you on ABC..ABC is the bastard stepchild of Waterman. They are in a dead heat with the CBS affiliate..CBS wins most of the demos though. The cost of living has skyrocketed in the Ft Myers area..can't buy a small house for less than $200,000. Growing area which is nice...LOTS of retirees...old person's place. I wouldn't go to WBBH.... |

don't listen to "inthecrapper" Waterman is not any worse to work for than any other station out there. The poster seems to have a vendetta against the company. No on-air talet has been "demoted" to ABC in some time, some have been promoted to anchor positions. the newsroom is no utopia but there are a lot worse places to be.
By the way the abc is properly staffed and equipped for a station of its size, actually it has more reporters on an average day than WINK or FOX4 but not as many as the NBC , because it does several more hours of news
